Tinnitus . Tinnitus is not a typical symptom or consequence of whooping cough (pertussis). That being said, i cannot definitively say it can't cause it. Tinnitus has many causes and is the symptom of many common problems. The most common is hearing loss. If you have been deployed to combat areas and been involved with loud noise and / or blast injuries (like ied, mortars, rpg's etc), this is a common cause of both tinnitus and hearing loss.
