Do societal problems like abortion, divorce, ban of child discipline and others contribute to violence in the nation?

Other Problems. Societal problems such as child abuse and neglect, domestic violence, and lack of availability of mental health services contribute to violence in our society. Some of our regulations also need to be re-examined.
Violent acts. Interpersonal violence appears to be the final pathway behavior emerging from varying combinations of potentially modifiable and relatively non-modifiable factors. These include, but are not limited to, life experiences (such as developmental parental boundaries), exposure to family strain (eg divorce) and debated issues such as abortion. Also, prior violence predicts future violence.
