No. The flu shot does not always work so you may end up getting the flu despite getting the vaccine.
Also the flu shot does not prevent you from getting a really bad cold. But the flu shot does help reduce your chances of getting the flu which at best is a miserable illness to have and at worst can result in hospitalization or death.

The injected flu vaccine is a killed derivative of flu germs.
You cannot get flu from dead viruses.The nasal spray is a weakened flu germ & rarely someone can have a flu like process with that weakened material.
