In brief: Diet and exercise
Back pain in pregnancy is common.
Keep your weight gain under control. Eat very healthy and sensibly. Pregnancy yoga classes or pregnancy pilates classes or simply staying active can really help with back pain. Women who begin their pregnancy at their ideal weight and who exercise regularly before pregnancy have less back pain.
