Is it possible to miscarry 1 twin and whilst pregnant with the other you hpt says negative even though it was positive when u were carrying two babies?

It is possible for one twin to be aborted(miscarried) and the other survive, but usually the deceased twin stays in utero at an early embryonic stage.
And is "resorbed." a serial(more than one ) beta HCG titer and ultrasound are done in these and similar circumstances to confirm an empty uterus.

There is something called the vanishing twin syndrome where one twin dies and the other is normal. This can be associated with some spotting and bleeding.
