In brief: Any position works

Semen is sticky, and sperm can swim, so any intercourse position where the semen is placed a few inches inside the vagina should work just fine.
If one wants the semen to move downstream towards the cervix, and then downstream into the uterus, one should ask her ob-gyn which way her uterus & cervix are pointed (normal or retroverted) . . . But that's probably overdoing the reproduction thing.
