In brief: Acne gels may help

Skin that gets greasy is due to the oil glands putting out more oil.
Sometimes acne medicines like the over-the-counter benzoyl peroxide gel, or the prescription gels like differin, (adapalene) can help, but one can't be sure unless he tries it. Washing with regular soap, 3-4 times a day, without excessive scrubbing (so not to irritate the skin) can help also. A dermatologist may have additional ideas.
