In brief: Antifungals
The cause is secondary to overgrowth of microorganisms at the corners of the mouth (usually the yeast candida albicans).
The treatment is to treat the yeast with medicine such as Nystatin and/or by addressing some of the causes which lead to the overgrowth in the first place (excessive saliva pooling at the corners of the mouth). See your dermatologist and/or dentist for evaluation.

In brief: Some medicine cream
A person with signs of angular cheilitis can be checked by a doctor to see if there is a lip eczema problem, an oral herpes problem, or signs of vitamin deficiency.
Angular cheilitis is the cracking at the corners of the mouth, with some inflammation and probably some candidal yeast overgrowth. A little Clotrimazole antifungal cream and a little Hydrocortisone cream for week can make it better.
