Pregnancy is actually much riskier than any fertility drugs or fertility treatment. The biggest risk of fertility drugs is multiple pregnancy. Although most twin pregnancies in this country do well, the complication rate is many times higher than singleton pregnancies. Careful handling of fertility drugs can minimize the risk for multiples.
