Is working out three times a day too much?

Depends. Working out 3-4 hrs, 3x daily may be excessive, but working out 20-30 minutes with different exercises (cardio, weights, yoga, etc), 3x daily may be beneficial. Please clarify the routine. Thanks.
Moderate workouts ok. A healthy person doing mild or moderate workouts 3 times a day should not be a problem. Athletes, farmers, construction workers, and others who use their body's muscles and bones for many hours each day can continue for many years without problems. However, if chronic muscle strains, joint sprains, or other aches and pains occur, then one is putting too much wear and tear (damage) onto his body.
