I was out side and felt as if I got stung by a bee. When I looked at my leg their was a large bump on my varicose vein. Leg was swollen and hot.?

Phlebitis. Superficial phlebitis is not uncommon specially if you have varicose veins, you need to have an ultrasound and if the process does not extend into the upper thigh the treatment is aspirin, antiinflammatories and compression. Once recovered you need to see a phlebologist for therapy of varicose veins to prevent recurrence.
Phlebitis. Sounds like phlebitis. This is a clot in a superficisl vein and is associated with pain and inflammation. Usually treated with anti inflammatories, elevation and heat. Must make sure it is not an infectious process (cellulitis). So see a doctor and make sure you dont need antibiotics.
