Most minor back injuries respond well on their own, with some degree of rest and a slow resumption of full activities, ice to the affected area and anti-inflammatories such as Motrin or Advil (ibuprofen) if you are able to take them. Lying in bed and not moving, or sleeping on the floor tend to ultimately worsen the problem. See a doctor if not better or worse.
