In brief: Not likely cardiac

Cardiac pain in a child is exceedingly unusual.
The answer really depends on the history of the pain--when does he get it, what makes it worse, what makes it better? Cold, heat, fever, nighttime, daytime? So many questions to ask! talk to your family doctor, and let him ask those question to help nail down what's going on! ekg's rarely provide the answer in children.
