In brief: Yes

Bv and other vaginal infections are a sign that the vaginal pH is off.
When the pH becomes more basic, other bacteria that cause BV and yeast can grow and take over. Avoid douching, high chlorine environments, etc. I recommend probiotics for this--especially around the time of periods.
