TLC and... Acataminophen or Ibuprofen for fevers and aches. Nasal saline drops for stuffy nose. Cool mist vaporizer. Honey for cough since your kid is dee than 1 yr old. Over the counter cold medications are not recommended in kids younger than 4-6 yrs old (possibly under 12 yrs old!) because of side effects and safety. How your little one feels better soon!
Tylenol, (acetaminophen) then wait. A 2 year-old toddler with mild cold symptoms can use tylenol (acetaminophen) for fevers, aches, or fussiness, during the first 2-3 days. Over-the-counter cold and cough medicines are not recommended for young children. If a toddler has changes in behavior, higher fevers, ear or throat pain, or any other worrisome symptoms, he should see a doctor for an evaluation.
