In brief: Hard to say

Everyone is different, but we do know that some amount of steroid (usually a small amount) can be absorbed systemically.

In brief: Variable

Depends on several factors: what specific drug preparation is used (alone or combined with acetate/na phosphate), where it was injected (facet, disc, etc.
), how (some drugs are accidentally absorbed quickly by inadvertent intravascular or intrathecal injection), who did the procedure (experience counts), etc. Why are you worried? A diabetic concerned about elevated blood glucose? See a pain md!

In brief: Depends

Worst case scenario - all of it would be absorbed.
Steroids could cause many side effects and you are correct to be concerned but as with all treatments you need to weigh the risks and benefits of each option. If the injection were not given what would have happened?
