In brief: Six weeks

As long as you are careful, there shouldn't be any problem.

In brief: Follow the answer

After all hip replacement, a big pillow is applied between the legs.
This is to keep the legs apart, and externally rotated, to prevent possible hip dislocation. As long as you are at bottom after a week . Is safe to have sex. Usually within six to eight weeks the capsule around the joint is healed and you can be in any position.
