In brief: It's Up to You

We are exposed to all manner of emotional stimulation when viewing popular media these days.
It really depends on what you watch, how it affects you and whether you continue to watch based on those effects. There has been some research done that shows mental health disorders are often inaccurately portrayed or over-emphasized in the media, making them seem more prevalent than they really are.

In brief: It depends on U

First is not all what u hear is true and second what happened happened u can't change it.
But it is normal to have empathy and feel sad for the misery of others and there are a lot of it.
