Counting calories is not necessary and is definitely not exact.
It's only an estimation of the calories you consume. You can continue counting, but have greater focus on eating healthy: more fruits and vegetables, less processed foods, less saturated fats and simple carbohydrates, and more unsaturated fats and complex carbohydrates. And most importantly, exercise for at least 30 min/day.
