I heard that sleep deprivation builds up. Is this true? How can I get rid of my sleep depravity?

In brief: Yes

It does build up.
If, for your age, you should get 8 hrs/night of sleep and monday, you get 6, tues, 5, wed, 6, thurs, 4, then you are 11 hours behind. Your body will want that repaid (not necessarily the full 11 but close). So, the next few nights you'll have to sleep more than 8 hours until you're fairly caught up. But overdoing it can cause problems too. If you can, stick to a sleep schedule.
