I blink a lot more than other people. Is that sign of something more serious?

In brief: Not necessarily

Blinking you eyes alot cn just be a behavioral tick, but it also occurs in people with dry eyes and sometimes with blepharospasm. It the blinking is excessive, it is probably best to see your eyecare provider for an evaluation.

In brief: Unlikely

The most common cause of rapid blinking is poor tear quality.
If the tears do not have enough surface tension they then break up in between blinks and this degrades the image that you see. The natural reflex is therefore to increase the frequency of blinking. Another cause of frequent blinking is incomplete blinks, which do not adequately move and redistribute the lipid layer of your tears.
