Yes. Other symptoms of IBS are bloating, constipation and/or diarrhea. Everyone's experience with IBS can be unique.
Not really. By definition, irritable bowel syndrome (ibd) must include abdominal pain or discomfort of some sort along with diarrhea and/or constipation. If there is no pain we generally refer to the diseases as functional diarrhea or constipation. This is done primarily for classification for research purposes.
When I eat my stomach would rumble and would have a lot of wind. Sometimes stomach cramps but only the odd time. Could this be ibs?
Could be but... You need to get a full work up before your doctor can diagnose you with IBS. It is usually a diagnosis of exclusion when no biological cause can be found for your symptoms. Indigestion and occasional change in bowel habits are common and doesn’t mean you have IBS. You can also keep a food journal and see if certain foods tend to produce these symptoms more than others.
Bit embarassing, people constantly ask if I've farted. I'm always bloated but am 100% certain I haven't. I may have IBS & incur stomach cramps often?
Maybe nothing but... Being gassy may reflect malabsorption of food (like gluten, lactose), intake of poorly digested food, or choosing foods known to promote gas (beans, fizzy drinks). Sometimes its more complicated--gut emptying too slowly, bacterial overgrowth syndrome, delayed intestinal function, partial obstruction from any cause, infection, rectum problems, ; pelvic pathology outside the gut. Pls get checked.
I'm having problems with stomach cramps (left and right) alternate! My GP thinks it's IBS but I don't match any other symptoms. What do you think?
Likely IBS. I am assuming you have been tested for other causes and your workup has been negative. You may see a gastroenterologist if you want a second opinion. But IBS (irritable bowel syndrome), even without physical abnormalities, can cause very disabling symptoms for some people. But generally the symptoms can be managed with appropriate therapy. Hope that helps.

I get stomach cramps, a feeling that I can't fully empty my bowels, frequent changes in stools, wind and I go to the toilet a lot. Could I have IBS?
Yes. Stomach cramps and other symptoms of intestinal dysfunction often reflect IBS, for which there is no known cause.
