In brief: Yes

A successful & healthy marriage is made up of many components, only one of which is sex.
Other components include intimacy, openness, honesty, compassion, friendship, common values, common goals, respect, the ability to forgive, & the feeling that each of you is getting more out of the relationship than you are giving to the relationship (read this last one carefully). This is only a partial list.

In brief: Sexual Compatibility

Sex is an important aspect of many healthy marriages.
That you are your spouse are on the same page is more important than whether or not you are having sex. There could be a variety of reasons that a marriage is sexless. Is it for health reasons? Past sexual trauma? Low libido? Having some open dialogue with your partner about your individual needs can help assess and promote sexual combatilitiy.

In brief: Sexless marriage

As couples age some agree that their interest in sexuality has greatly diminished and is no longer necessary for love to be sustained.
In other situations one partner may lose interest and that can cause a major problem unless completely understood and worked through satisfactorily to both partners. Best.

In brief: Possibly

This depends on what the couple decides together, and isn't a unilateral decision by only one member. For some, physical illness may preclude intercourse -- but other kinds of sexual interaction are still possible and enjoyable.
Great mutual love may be present, along the desire to be intimate in other ways. It can take a little creativity, but may be far from "sexless"!
