In brief: Labral repair possib
Labral repair rather than excision is possible in some cases.
This is done arthroscopically and is a same day surgical procedure.

In brief: Hip Meniscus???
There is no meniscus in the hip.
I assume you are referring to a labral tear. Labrum has a very poor blood supply and will not heal once it's torn. Not everyone who has a tear in the labrum has pain though and it is possible that the pain will resolve over time. Surgery for the labral tear involves debridement/excision of the torn tissue.
