Use of Red Raspberry teas goes back to the Greeks and Romans. It is believed that the tannin and other substances in the tea can help relax the uterus, decrease cramping and improve the menstrual experience. I have no evidence that it does not work. I do have patients who feel it does help. I do not believe it hurts. It's a tea. If it does not do what you need, see a doctor.
