If the eruption is sufficiently severe, in addition to what Dr. Fowler has indicated, there are some doctors who, under appropriate circumstances will us a Medrol dose pack. This is often reserved for people who cannot use their hands b/o swelling, eyes are closed, or it has been inhaled and affected breathing.
