Are pvcs triggered by certain food or body action?

Usually not. Pvcs are a normal variant of the inherent electrical properties of heart muscle cells. I have seen many patients obsessively look for correlation with foods or activities, rarely finding any. Only rarely does caffeine trigger this activity, and even less often might certain sugary foods, or very cold beverages, do it. Exertional activity usually suppresses pvcs, if the heart is otherwise healthy.
Maybe. Pvcs or premature ventricular contractions are extra beats of the heart that may occur for many reasons. Stressful situations with Adrenalin release will often cause pvcs. Over the counter medication such as Pseudoephedrine and caffeinated beverages will aggravate pvcs. Food allergies with the stress they place on the body may also be related to increases in pvcs.
