In brief: Allergy shots
You receive increasing doses of the allergen(s) to which you are allergic over time to alter the immune system to stop seeing the allergen as bad but rather as a normal reaction recognized by protective antibodies called igg.

In brief: Treatment
Allergy shots or allergen immunotherapy is an effective treatment for chronic severe allergies that do not respond to medications.
Based on allergy skin test results, we make up solutions consisting of the relevant allergens that you are allergic to. Then we administer weekly injections of the solutions in increasing concentrations and doses to build up your tolerance to the allergens.
