In brief: See a psychiatrist

Unusual desires to eat things (or smell things) are collectively called "pica", and often indicate serious underlying emotional, psychological and psychiatric issues, and occasionally are an indicator for an underlying physical problem. You need to see your family doctor first, and if nothing physical is revealed, get a referral to a mental health specialist.

In brief: Moth ball addiction

A serious health risk.
Although most people repeatedly inhale vapors, some lick ; even infest moth balls. Would encourage you to work with an addiction psychiatrist. This is a very self-destructive behavior. Mothballs are usually all active ingredient ; are composed of either paradichlorobenzene or napthlene. They dissolve from a solid to a vapor which is toxic. Inhaling mothball vapor = breathing.

How are you addicted to moth balls. Is it the aroma, or are you eating them or what? How often do you repeat this behavior?
