In brief: Various

Sun protection is most important- hats/clothing, sunscreens that block uva & uvb, outdoor activities before 10 am & after 4 pm. Don't smoke.
Use high quality topical antioxidants. Good nutrition is important. Treatment for early signs of aging include topical retinoids (such as retinol, retin a, renova, (tretinoin) others) to reduce sun-damaged pigmentation and stimulate collagen, which minimizes wrinkles.

Retin-A and similar products help improve the skin as well, however they make the skin sensitive to sun, which makes protection that much more important! Also, cigarette smoking has a tremendous impact on skin's aging.

Skin aging is 90%+ from sun exposure, so the earlier you start routinely protecting your skin with sunscreen, the better you'll be. Retin-A, antioxidants, Fraxel laser, Portrait Plamsa resurfacing and chemical peels all can help.

In brief: Yes

If you want to look young and minimize the signs of aging it is important to minimize your exposure to sunlight (uva & uvb), eat healthy and exercise, refrain from smoking (even 2nd hand) and avoid unnecessary environmental toxins.
Also see a board certified dermatologist (specialist who has further training in the science of skin in both health and disease) for evaluation. Key is to start now.

The best way to prevent skin aging is to protect your skin with sunscreen and hats in an effort to practice sun safety, prevent yourself from getting sunburnt, and consider early treatment with topical retinoids and antioxidants to potenitate these results.

In brief: Sun protection

The best prevention involves using good sun care practices, such as sunscreens, uv protective clothing, hats, and doing outdoor activities before 10 am and after 4 pm. A good topical antioxidant helps to reduce the harmful effect of ultraviolet radiation that gets through a sunscreen, and some does even with the best sunscreens.
See you dermatologist who can educate you on the best sunscreens etc.
