In brief: YES

In general, persons with seizure disorders should not drink alcohol.
Alcohol lowers the seizure threshold and may also interfere with any seizure medications you may be taking rendering them less effective. If yoiu have a seizure disorder, you should discuss this very carefully with your pcp and/or neurologist before drinking alcohhol. I would just not do it!

In addition, alcohol induced falls can cause brain injury. Finally, alcohol itself increases the metabolism of many common anti-seizure drugs, including dilantin, tegretol and phenobarbital. Alcohol use should be avoided or minimal.
