In brief: Tough question

Flovents risk in pregnancy is unknown.
There are however inhaled steroids that have very low risk o problems to the fetus (ie budesonide). Your health care provider must weigh the risk versus benefit of this drug.

In brief: Things to consider

An inhaled steroid like Flovent sends the meds directly to the area of need and is then metabolized with minimal transfer to the bloodstream where it would effect the baby.
An oral steroid needed to control an asthma event goes directly into the blood, at a much higher dose & potential effect. Baby needs a mom that retains control of her asthma to maintain a healthy pregnancy. Inhaled=safer
