In brief: Rational Recovery
Rr is a alternative which is based more on cognitive therapy and is less spiritual.
There are also psychotherapy programs and many religious based programs. However aa is by far the most accepted

In brief: All sobriety
Programs require work.
I support 12 step programs with my patients. There are a number of programs that are not 12 step based. Smart recovery (self-management & recovery training), rational recovery (with addictive voic recognition technique) & lifering (sobriety/secularity/ self-help). There are also non-12 step rehabilitation centers. You can also work with an addiction medicine specialist.
