In brief: Yes
It can be. There are certain syndromes (beckwith-wiedeman, wagr, and denys-drash) that are associated with a genetic abnormality that causes wilms tumor.
The direct hereditary risk is slightly higher but not clea.R.

In brief: Not really
Wilms tumor is a childhood cancer of the kidneys.
It usually occurrs sporadically. However in some cases when it involves a syndrome like beckwith-weidemann it can be hereditary.

In brief: In some cases
While wilms' tumor usually occurs sporadically, there are common genes/gene mutations that have been discovered in patients with wilms' tumor. There is also increased incidence in association with certain conditions, such as hemihypertrophy and beckwith-wideman syndrome (omphalocele, macroglossia, organomegaly).
This suggests a genetic link in some patients.
