In brief: YES (in some cases)

While controversial & considered unproven by many doctors, homeopathy is often very successful in treating asthma.
There are many many cases of asthma, both in adults & children, that have fully disappeared after homeopathic treatment. While some doctors may consider this a spontaneous remission or placebo effect, it is a cure nonetheless. See www.Naturalnews.Com/034097_homeopathy_myths.Html.

there is no cure for asthma - only treatments for prevention and acute exacerbations -there is a tremendous difference between curing a disease and treating it.

It is fair to say that conventional allopathic medicine has no cure for asthma. This is precisely why I practice homeopathy (as well as Western medicine). Homeopathy often cures conditions considered "incurable" by allopaths. It is usually rejected out of hand by MD's who have never studied it or tried it. 1000's of MD's practice homeopathy because it works! www.healthy.net/scr/article.aspx?Id=735

In brief: Not likely

There are no real cures to asthma that we know of.
There are medicines to help prevent attaks but not to cure the disease.

There are no scientifically proven cures for asthma.
Keep in mind that homeopathic medications are not safe simply because they are "natural", there are many natural compounds that can cause illness in humans. Unfortunately, homeopathic medications are not regulated by the fda in the same way as prescribed medications and oftwen avoid regulation by being labeled as foods or dietary suppliments.

Homeopathic medicines are recognized & regulated as drugs under the official Homeopathic Pharmacopoeia of the United States- see http://www.homeopathic.com/Articles/Introduction_to_Homeopathy/The_Homeopathic_Pharmacopoeia_and_the_Assura.html. While their efficacy is highly controversial, their safety is not. The amount of highly diluted natural chemicals in them is considered too low to be toxic.
