Is it true that certain colors will set up a hyperactive child to go even crazier?

In brief: Question unclear

If you mean food dyes, there is evidence especially with young children (under age 6 years) that some children react to them with increased physical activity and impulsivity.
This effect seems to less lessen with increase age. Colors in the environment such bright-colored clothing or rooms also can affect energy level and behavior.

In brief: Possibly

Different people are affected by different things, and kids with adhd can have trouble handling certain stimuli in their environment.
However, difficulty tolerating colors is probably not a significant issue for most kids with adhd.

In brief: Maybe

There is a study that linked greater hyperactivity in children who drank food with artificial red, yellow and orange dyes.
It is just one study and needs to be replicated but it is concerning.

There are also studies on the impact of what color a room is painted on a persons mood.
