The only secure way to ensure confidentiality is to see psychiatrists fully "opted out" of medicare/medicaid, & taking no insurance. Only then is the "doctor-patient" privileged fully preserved. Any other doctor is contractually obligated to send records to medicare, medicaid, and any insurance, when asked. Or, when a random government raid occurs.
