In brief: High GI fruit.

The liver normally stores about 350-400 calories of glycogen.
The window for repleting it is actually up to 4 hours, but is most efficiently within an hour. Fruit high glycemic indices are most efficiently converted from glucose to glycogen (i.e. Dried fruit, though they are calorie dense). My vote is for a cup of grapes: 27.3 g carb, barely 50 calories, fun to eat.
