In brief: Yes as long as

You recover well, there are no complications etc.
But simply having open heart surgery does not preclude someone from having children in the future.

In brief: Yes

Probably the most common forms of heart surgery in a woman who are of child bearing age are heart valve surgery and repairs of congenital defects.
Most of these women will be capable of child bearing but some (like the ones with mechanical heart valves) will require special care during the pregnancy.

In brief: Usually yes

Most of the time the answer is yes.
But it mainly depends on how strong your heart is now. In addition if you are on Coumadin (warfarin) then you would need an alternative blood thinner while you are pregnant, since it causes birth defects.
