In brief: See you Doctor

If what is heart disease? Please see your doctor, explain your symptoms, personal, medical and family history, any medications you are taking and your concerns.
Your doctor can determine if you have symptoms of heart disease. And, if a primary or family doctor, can refer you to a cardiologist for further investigation.

In brief: See your Doctor

By seeing your doctor and doing certain tests such as a treadmill test.
. Many other factors will direct your doctor to assess whether you are at high or low risk for heart disease (family history, obesity, smoking, high blood pressure and cholesterol) and direct him to recommend other tests. Symptoms are not always indicating heart disease and for many people, sudden death is a first sign :-(.
