In brief: Unusual things

Some of the big ones: bleeding that is like a period or more, contractions that are regular or painful before 35 weeks.
Also headaches, blurry vision or stomach pain that doesn't go away. Anything that is unusual for you should be brought up with your doctor.

In brief: Bleeding, etc.

Topping the list are: bleeding especially with severe abdominal cramps, serious nausea & vomiting, your water breaks, decreased movement of the baby, contractions early in the third trimester, persistent severe headache or blurry vision, unusual or severe swelling or abdominal pain, and flu-like symptoms.
There are other abnormal signs as well. This is why you must visit your OB often.
