Edema, sob, weakness. Although, this could be caused by other diseases, CHF is the first thing that should come to your mind if you have a patient with increasing leg edema and shortness of breath and crackles in the lungs with congested neck veins. These patients need prompt medical attention including diuresis, salt and fluid restriction, and work up for the reason for the development of chf.
