The fact that you are extremely tired is worrisome. It sounds like you need a blood transfusion. I hope your anemia has been investigated, meaning a cause found. At this point i don't think iron injections are appropriate. A blood tranfusion first, then iron for three months with monitoring. This is my opinion. You should discuss all options with your doctor. Take care.
