In brief: Yes
Sit ups are great.
To really define your abs you need to shed the overlying fat and tone the underlying muscles. Losing fat requires good nutrition and diet. Woman tend to have more fat here than men so losing enough fat to have "6-pack" abs may interfere with the menstrual cycle which is unhealthy. Exercises should work all 3 muslce layers which can be done by changing technique. Stick with it.

To lose the fat requires proper nutrition and diet. Woman tend to have more ab fat then men, and losing enough to have "six pack" abs may interfere with menstrual cycle which is unhelathy. Exercises should work all 3 muscle layers so mix up exercise technique. Stick with it.

To really define your abs you need to shed the overlying body fat and tone the underlying muscles. Losing the fat requires proper diet and nutrition. Women tend to have more fat here naturally and losing enough fat to have those "6-pack" abs may interfere with the menstrual cycle which is then unhealthy. Change up exercise technique to work all 3 muscle layers in the abssix.
