In brief: Maybe/not

There are hundreds of dark molds and only two that are considered toxic; stachybotrys & aspergillis.
Symptoms primarily effect mental & respiratory systems. You can be allergic to any mold but the symptoms would likely be different. There mold test kits you can collect & send in for analysis or pros that remove them. You likely had a gut virus that coincided with your reno.

In brief: Symptoms

Symptoms can include coughing, headaches, problems with concentration, dizziness nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, loss of appetite, weight loss, hives, skin rashes and lethargy (just to mention a few).
As your symptoms are worsening, i recommend that you stay away from the area of contamination and that you get medical help. Working with black mold requires a respirator at minimum. Black mold is very dangerous.
