In brief: Asian blepharoplasty

The majority of patients will take 10-14 days to recover from asian eyelid surgery.
The amount of bruising and the speed with which it resolves is very patient-dependent. Avoiding foods and supplements that may thin your blood will limit the length of time you experience bruising.

In brief: Asian blepharoplasty

You need at least a week off.
Plan for surgery by following your surgeon's pre and postop instructions which will help mimimise brusing and swelling.

In brief: Typically

Typically the swelling and brusing is worst in the first 3-4 days with much of it resolving by 10 days but taking up to 3-4 weeks in the event of more extensive bruising.
Typically camouflage make up or concealing vanity eyewear can be applied soon after surgery.

In brief: Most

Most bruising of the face lasts as long as it does elsewhere on the body (1-2 weeks).
By stopping all blood thinners (aspirin, ibuprofen, vit e, etc) you can lessen the bruising significantly.
