In general, some risks of flying involve development of blood clots, that risk is elevated during the initial post op period. Avoided by keeping active(walk when permitted), hydration. Your surgeon will tell you. Uncomplicated surgery, 3 weeks. Again, talk to your surgeon. Sternal wires may set off certain alarm types.
