In brief: "Any

"any woman between 8 and 80 with abdominal pain is pregnant until proven otherwise!" that is drilled into us in training.
Have you taken any home pregnancy tests? When was your last menstrual period? Assuming, after a year of symptoms, that you are not pregnant, there can be any number of things going on. We call symptoms like these "constitutional symptoms." they can be vague and it can be difficult to find a cause. Are you losing weight despite eating more? If so, you need to look into this thoroughly and soon. Fevers and night sweats are also concerning. You need to find a good primary care physician to do some thoughtful investigation. Be patient, as it may take months before they pin down a diagnosis.

In brief: There

There is always a possibility of pregnancy if you are sexually active.
Have you missed a period yet? As doctors, the first thing we do when we hear that a young, fertile woman is having a missed period or abnormal spotting, we check a pregnancy test. You can either take a home pregnancy test as long as it has been 5- 6 weeks since your last normal period, or you can go see your doctor and they can test you. A home pregnancy test is 97% accurate if taken a week or more after the missed period. A blood test can tell if you are pregnant as soon as 7 days after conception and a doctor's urine pregnancy test can tell if you are pregnant around when you next period should come. Since your abdominal pains have been going on for a year, they are likely not from pregnancy so you should give your doctor a call anyway for an evaluation. Good luck!
