In brief: What

What is concerning is that your pain apparently radiates down your back, into your legs and feet and you notice numbness.
Are you experiencing weakness of your legs? Do you have difficulty passing your urine or is it hard to get your urinary stream going? Have you had any episodes of urinary incontinence (wetting on yourself)? Are you having difficulty with passing feces? If your pain is severe or you find that your bowel or bladder are not functioning correctly, recommend that you either contact your doctor right away or that you go to the emergency room. Nerves coming off your spinal cord may be getting compressed. It can be a medical emergency if the nerves at the bottom of your spinal canal get compressed. Take care of your self.
