In brief: See your dentist

for Halimeter test, diagnosis and bad breath treatment that depends on its cause.

In brief: Bad breath

Sometimes its a sigh of silent acid reflux.
If the dentist cant find any cause see a GI to check the stomach fro acid reflux and a bacteria called H Pylori

In brief: Bad breath

Brushing and tongue cleaning are only part of the answer. You also need to floss at least once a day.
Have you seen a dentist and had your teeth cleaned recently? Do you smoke? Start by seeing a dentist. If you still have bad breathe then see your primary care to evaluate metabolic diseases, acid reflux and other causes.

In brief: There

There are a lot of reasons for getting bad breath - but the most common by far arises from bacteria living in the mouth and producing by-products that smell bad.
Let's assume this is why you are getting malodors. You are doing the right thing by brushing frequently and cleaning your tongue, but I have a few more suggestions for you. 1) if you haven't had one lately - get a dental check-up - have your dentist screen you for gum disease, a condition that will cause chronic bad breath in spite of all the brushing in the world! 2) get your regular professional cleanings at the interval prescribed by your dentist 3) make sure you are flossing every evening before bedtime in addition to brushing 4) ask your dentist about Chlorhexidine mouthrinse - this is a prescription strength mouthrinse that will kill oral bacteria & other organisms 5) chew sugar-free gum - this will stimulate production of saliva and cleanse the teeth. If these suggestions don't work for you - then you and your dentist will have to do some more investigating to find out if there is another cause for your halitosis - but this is a great place to start.

In brief: Floss?

Brushing is only part of oral hygiene.
You must also floss. Try brushing your tongue instead of scraping. Also, you may have periodontal problems also GI problems can't be ruled out. Start by visiting uh our dentist!

In brief: See a dentist

Seems like you are doing all that you can in terms of cleaning.
It could be dietary, or could be a sign of a medical or dental problem. Perhaps you just need a professional dental cleaning. To solve this, the place to start is with a dental examination.
